Hi, I'm Jane,

Originally from the UK, I have been living in sunny Spain for 15 years. I am a Hormone Yoga Therapist, Pilates instructor, Osteopathic Manual Therapist,  and Argentine Tango teacher.

ā€‹What Type of Yoga Do I Teach?

ā€‹

I have created my own method of women’s yoga, focused on what women need physically and emotionally throughout their feminine journey.

ā€‹

At the EMPWR I’ll be offering Prenatal Yoga, hosting a pregnancy community gathering where you can share your Pregnancy journey with other Mums to be, and Hormone Balance and Menopause Yoga - a specialist class that help women transition to menopause with ease and grace.

What Do I Love About Teaching Yoga?

Yoga is a sacred moment between me, my mind, my body and the spirit that breathes through me.  No matter what is happening around me, there is one place I can always come home to, one constant awareness that lives inside of me and guides me. It is available, always here and always now.

Yoga helps me to calm my mind, open my heart and connect to this source. It’s a daily practice of alignment that I turn to, to help me process the ups and downs of life, to listen to my emotions, my breath and my body and to process, let go and embrace. So grateful for this practice and so blessed to be able to share it with you.

What Can You Expect from My Classes?

Prenatal Classes are focused on the physical and emotional changes happening for you throughout your pregnancy.  The flows incorporate strength and flexibility, a mixture of pilates exercises and yoga (including resistance bands and magic circle), to support the spine and prevent/relieve back pain, open the hips and prepare and protect the pelvic floor. We’ll also give variations to tailor your practice if you are suffering from indigestion or dizziness from low blood pressure.  After class, sit back, unwind and enjoy a tea with your pregnancy community.

ā€‹

Menopause Yoga Classes are tailored to help women relieve symptoms of menopause and support this new life phase with yoga, meditation and breathwork.  The focus is on boosting natural hormone production, relieving symptoms of menopause, strengthening and toning and protecting the pelvic floor.  Enjoy a little facial yoga too :) Many women feel lost when their cycle starts to vary, and are completely unprepared for the physical, cognitive and emotional symptoms of this important change. So connecting together in a women’s circle before class offers emotional support and helps you to embrace change with more awareness.ā€‹ā€‹

Hobbies and Interests Outside of Yoga

When I’m not teaching yoga or dancing, I’m hiking in nature with my Dog Luna, who I’m sure you’ll see around the studio!
